At Blinds & Curtains Professional, we take pride in creating custom window treatments tailored specifically to your measurements and preferences. Due to the custom nature of our products, our return and refund policy is designed to be fair while protecting both our customers and our business.
Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase. By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms outlined in this Return & Refund Policy.
Custom Products Policy
All window treatments manufactured by Blinds & Curtains Professional are custom-made to your specific measurements, fabric selections, and design preferences. As such, these items are considered "made-to-order" and are generally not eligible for return or refund once production has begun.
Why Custom Products Cannot Be Returned
- Made to Your Specifications: Each product is manufactured specifically for your windows and cannot be resold to another customer.
- Material Commitment: Fabrics and materials are cut and prepared specifically for your order.
- Labor Investment: Significant time and craftsmanship go into creating each custom piece.
Order Cancellation
Before Production Begins
If you need to cancel your order before production has started, you may do so with a full refund of any deposit paid, minus any non-refundable consultation or design fees that may apply.

After Production Begins
Once production has begun, cancellation may result in a partial refund based on:
- The stage of production at the time of cancellation
- Materials already purchased and cut
- Labor costs incurred
We will work with you to determine a fair resolution on a case-by-case basis.
Defective Products and Manufacturing Errors
We stand behind the quality of our workmanship. If you receive a product with a manufacturing defect or error on our part, we will:
- Repair or Replace: Fix the defect at no cost to you, or replace the item if repair is not possible.
- Cover Installation: Reinstall corrected products at no additional charge.
- Full Refund: Provide a full refund if neither repair nor replacement is feasible.
To report a defect, please contact us within 30 days of installation with photos and a detailed description of the issue.
Measurement Errors
Our Measurements
If we take measurements and there is an error on our part, we will correct the product at no cost to you, including remanufacturing and reinstallation.
Customer-Provided Measurements
If you provide measurements and there is an error, we may charge for remanufacturing. However, we will work with you to find a fair solution, potentially offering a discount on corrections.
Important: We strongly recommend our free in-home consultation and measurement service to avoid measurement errors.
Fabric and Color Variations
Due to the nature of fabrics and manufacturing processes, slight variations in color, texture, or pattern may occur between samples and final products. These variations are considered normal and do not constitute a defect.
We recommend viewing fabric samples in your actual space with your lighting conditions before finalizing your selection. Our designers are available to help you make informed choices.
Installation Issues
If you experience problems with installation:
- Within 30 Days: We will return to fix installation issues at no charge if the problem is due to our workmanship.
- After 30 Days: Installation issues may be covered under warranty. Please contact us to discuss.
- Customer-Caused Issues: If installation problems are due to changes you made or damage after installation, repair charges may apply.
Refund Processing
If a refund is approved, it will be processed using the original payment method:
- Credit/Debit Cards: Refunds typically appear within 5-10 business days
- Check Payments: Refund checks are mailed within 10-14 business days
- Cash Payments: Refunds are processed via check or bank transfer
Processing times may vary based on your financial institution.
Warranty Claims
Products covered under warranty are subject to repair or replacement per the terms of your specific warranty agreement. Warranty claims do not automatically result in refunds unless repair or replacement is not possible.
Please refer to your contract or contact us for specific warranty terms applicable to your purchase.
